Real Good Documentation for Your Claim

After a storm, the most important thing you can bring to your insurance company is clear proof of the damage. Real Good Roofing inspects your roof, photographs and measures every problem, and gives you a written report and estimate you can submit with your claim.

You stay in control of your claim. Georgia law doesn’t allow roofing contractors to represent homeowners or negotiate insurance claims for them, so we focus on what we do best: honest inspections, detailed documentation and quality repairs once your claim is settled.

Storm Damage & Insurance FAQs

Can you handle my insurance claim for me?

No. In Georgia, roofing contractors aren’t allowed to represent homeowners or negotiate insurance claims. You file and manage your claim with your insurance company, and we give you a thorough inspection, photos and a written estimate to submit with it. If you want someone to represent you, a licensed public adjuster or an attorney can do that.

What’s in your damage report?

Date-stamped photos of every damaged area, roof measurements, a description of what we found, and a written estimate for the repair or replacement.

Should I get an inspection before I file a claim?

It’s a good idea. Knowing whether there’s real storm damage, and how much, helps you decide whether filing a claim makes sense and what to tell your insurance company.

Will you pay or waive my deductible?

No. Your deductible is part of your insurance policy, and Georgia law prohibits roofing contractors from offering to pay or rebate it. Be cautious of any contractor who offers to.

What happens after my claim is settled?

We schedule your repair or replacement, keep you updated with real-time photos, and complete the work with quality materials and manufacturer-backed warranties.
